Roselli Axe

Designed specifically with campers, hikers and bikers in mind, this Axe variant has a slightly shorter handle than many others on the market to make for easier packing and carriage.

With its short handle it is very efficient at what it does and it is designed for woodcutting and whittling. Thanks to the design of the Axe blade, it doesn't get stuck on the log while cutting. Compared to the Axe with a longer handle, this one works well as a one-hand axe. 

Roselli has packaged this axe with a simplistic, tanned leather case to protect the cutting edge. The handle is made from birch and coated with linseed oil to ensure a firm grip, even when wet.

The cut out in the blade, combined with the rounded form of the head towards the  rear make it easy to get your hand behind the edge for shaving and carving. It can also be used to skin and dismember large game. The stout edge is better able to stand up to bone and cartilage than the usual thinner edge.

A small hammer face on the back of the axe head is perfect for pounding nails or tent pegs.The head of forged from carbon steel with a cutting edge of about 3 1/2".

The birch wood handle is about 14" long and lightly treated with linseed oil and is protected with a sturdy leather axe cover with belt sheath.
